WISE Chair Hannah Short receives GÉANT 2017 Community Award

During the TNC17 conference, the WISE chair Hannah Short was awarded with the valued GÉANT 2017 Community Award.
As a relative newcomer to the community, she has contributed to a significant security development with her work to develop Security Incident Response Trust Framework for Federated Identity (Sirtfi) within REFEDS and the AARC project.

Sirtfi enables the coordination of incident response across federated organisations and is a significant security development for the community. With three nominations for the award, Hannah has proved “a very valuable addition” to the community, the judges said. They commended her in the category of ‘significant contributions to important developments within the past 12 months’.

The WISE Steering Committee congratulates Hannah for the distinction.
